Why can I not start something and stick with it?
Zumba...
I decided that I wanted to try the new craze work out video, Zumba. I recieve a few dvd's of Zumba, and despite looking absolutely ridiculous in my own living room with my 4 year old, who absolutely loved it. After 1 week, ONE week and it wasnt even a full week, I have yet to pop it in my dvd player and bounce around like a baboon and fear of bopping one way and having Morgan fly across the room because she bopped into me. Maybe if i had a bigger living room or just space to move then I probably wouldn't have such a hard time bringing myself to do some 'dancing' or what ever you want to call the movements that do not look anything like the people on the t.v. are doing.
Often enough, I do catch my daughter shakin out some of those dance moves. She has a great memory for a 4 year old. I will tell you just how great of a memory she has, she had just turned 2 when we got her, her first kitten. Living in a fairly big city we traveled out to the country a bit and met a family at a gas station to recieve her kitty. Two years later we are driving past the same gas station, which by the way we have to go by to get to her grandpa's house, and she is actually looking out the window and observing things when we pass the gas station. "Mommy, Daddy, thats where we stopped to get my bootsie." We were in shock to say the least. I mean i know kids are smart and take in what they see but to remember where she picked up a kitten when she was 2 to me its amazing.
Okay so back to zumba. As Morgan is throwing her arms up over her head in a diamond and moving them from one side to the other repeating what the girls said while showing how to do the move, she decides to tell mommy that, if I would do it then I wouldn't be so big. UGH. Nothing like being told your fat by a 4 year old. This just adds to motivation to lose weight, however, my motivation never lasts long. And i can not ask my husband to be my partner because he just pisses me off, he eats all day long, literally, and is skinnier then a twig. It absolutely makes me want to vomit.
I have gotten to the point of no motivation that I tell everyone I am just gonna eat until i need a crane to move me. There is a zumba class on wed night, only problem is, i am already commited to a bowling league on wed nights, although it does end next week i am not sure i am comfortable enough with myself to go infront of people and just shake flab with no rhythem or coordination. Wow, writing this has made me realize why fear of commitment to weightloss, i am embarrassed by myself and do not want people to judge me while i attempt to make my life better. I am a very self consious person. I don't even do zumba in front of my husband, who thinks it would be the greatest thing ever.
Maybe one day i will be able to get over my issues and work on myself the way I picture things should be. Until then, I'll just continue listening to the voices in my head...

Osama Bin Laden- Dead!!
Okay, so I for one think this is bittersweet. Yes, it is about time he got what was coming to him and now our heros of 9/11 can rest in peace. It is nice to know that he didnt have the chance to die of natural causes and the statisfaction of killing so many innocent people. Now here is the bitterness of it all.
I am afraid that everyone is going to rejoyce and forget about all of the other threats that are going on. The Taliban are threatening to attack our troops in afghanistan with suicide bombers. Are we going to forget all about it now that Bin Laden is no longer a threat to us?
I will not be happy about any of this until it gets better. Just because one terrorist is dead does not mean there isnt any other terrorists out there that want to do the same as he did. There obviously are otherwise we wouldnt have been "warned" about the attacks.
And then to not want to pay our protectors?? Is our government HIGH?? I sure the hell dont see them standing on that line to protect us, instead they want to increase our cost of living and not try to get the economy under control. Its like we are fighting a war against the economy. Just because these government officials can afford to buy what ever they want does not mean that those people of lower classes need to be screwed when they work harder then the government has ever thought of working. People risk their lived every day to try to make up for the shitty position the government has put us in and still we have nothing because all they do is raise the price of everything.
I dont see Obama, or anyother govrnment official, giving up their pay check nor standing on that line staring people who want us dead in the eye telling them if you want america, get through me first.
Now i know the economy isnt going to get better and that theres always going to be hatred but the government needs to show a little respect to the american people but most of all to the americans who put their life on the line everyday to keep their asses safe.
Im done for now, but you can bet your ass i have more to rant about.
As Always,
Thanks for reading.

BrytonPick - Floss Review
I would say that dental hygene has not been my strongest hand in the game of life. I do brush my teeth daily and rinse with scope, but flossing, that was just an inconvience, especially with a thin piece of string and trying to fit your fingers in your mouth, just wasnt working for me. I had always said that if someone came up with an idea for flossing i would do it more often. Well guess what, someone did! Its called the Brytonpick. http://www.brytonpick.com
The BrytonPick, as pictured above, is boomerang shaped with rounded flexible metal on each end. When i first used this product i did not realize it was metal until i hit a filling, OUCH!! It is very easy to clean and one brytonpick can floss your teeth for a month, just keep it clean. Because it is metal, i was scared that i would cut into my gums, i dont think i made it close to my gums because of this. I think if the inventers found a different material as the flossing part i would continue to use this product, however, because i have fillings in the wierdest places i can not continue to use the brytonpick. It is almost like chewing on aluminum foil.
All in all i would say this product is genious, its fast small and reusable. You can take it anywhere and not lose room in your purse or wallet like you would for a box of stringy floss. I would just recommend trying different materials for the floss part, maybe a thin flexible plastic or some type of hard flexible silicone. If they were to change from metal i would definately use it daily.
Disclosure: I was given the brytonpick free of charge in exchange for this review, no other compensation has been rewarded, and the view in this post are my own opinions.

For my grandma!

Friday nights my husband and I bowl for a 9-pin no tap league (knock down 9 pins on your first ball and its a strike). Tonight was a little different tho. Joseph and I went to dinner with my aunt boyfriend, she wasnt available to go because of prior arrangements, so just the three of us was rather awkward. So after having the stomach bug earlier in the week, we decided to go to the chinese buffett, big mistake. I felt so sick after my half of place of black peppered chicken over white rice and cheese wontons, i also tried their stuffed mushrooms tonight and I must say I am quite disappointed in myself for not trying them before now. It started getting close to game time so we headed to the alley, where my stomach was just a churning. We started bowling and it finally went away and i felt great, not to mention my first 5 frames were strikes, 6th frame i screwed up because i got too nervous, 7th, and 8th were strikes and the last two went down the drain, my final score for the first game was a 188! normally i dont get over a 140 so this has me way beyond excited! Our second game i started out with 2 spares so i thought eh this game isnt going to be as good as the first one, well needless to say i ended up bowling a 23o that game and decided that since Wednesday was her 1 year since she had passed that my awesome scores were for nobody but her. ((i wont mention my last game, but i will tell you i didnt break 100, but since we had won 2 out of 3 games i decided to practice my curve)) My grandmother loved bowling. It is a family thing, all of my relatives love bowling. Although i cant ever recall seeing her bowl i know she was the greatest, because lets face it, theres always someone that you think is the greatest at something. We now only have 2 weeks of bowling left for league and since there is a summer 9-pin no tap league in memory of my grandma i am joining all of my other relatives and bowling in that league. Im pretty sure there may be like 4 or 5 teams that are all my relatives, with 4 people to a team i would say we have a pretty strong bond to want to do this for grandma. I know she will be standing there with my dad both of them looking down on us and smiling because she knows we are honored to be able to bowl her summer league as a family and in memory of her. She was an amazing woman and she knows that i bowled my highest game ever for her tonight because i knew she was watching over us. Rest In Peace Grandma Briggs Rest In Peace <3 I love and miss you like crazy!!
p.s. incase you couldnt tell, my score is the top one :)
As Always,
Thanks for reading

Bed Bound

I thought yesterday was a super long day and couldnt wait for it to end! For the first time in probably 3+ months i went to bed before 10, obviously that was a big mistake! Midnight rolled around and i am woke up by my stomach in knots. All i could think was, not again, i havent had one of these episodes in 2 years. Just as i thought it was another one of those episode only not as bad as the past. It is really not that easy to have a hungry 2 month old and a cranky husband who "cant hold his eyes open" and try to go back and forth to the bathroom. Macy finally went back to sleep and at 2 a.m. i layed back down and went to sleep, without any interruptions until Macy woke up to eat again. Yet, i still have this "sickness" even though it is almost gone, i have chosen to remain bed bound with my girls not just because we like to be lazy every once in awhile or because we can just relax and lay together, but because its the closet room to the bathroom. I just can not wait til this is gone completely and i really hope i dont pass it on to my girls. Im hoping its not a "sickness" and is just something i ate didnt agree?!
Okay now its time to go make morgan some lunch.
Today is also the 1 year anniversary of my great grandmas death. Maybe this is her way of telling me that she is with me? I love and miss you Grandma! May you always Rest In Peace <3
As Always,
Thanks for reading!

Pre-School
I am not going to lie, I am totally excited! I just received a phone call from the Pre-school i went to when i was a child. They are not closing their doors, which means, Morgan has a good chance of going to school this fall! At the begining of the year the school was unsure if it was going to be able to keep their doors open because of budget cuts. She really needs some interaction with kids her own age, she does not have much now and I am hoping she will open up more. I know that if she does get accepted i am going to be a wreck for the first week of school, I know that I will be more nervous then she will be, and i will probably cry my eyes out the whole time she is gone, until she comes home, but its to be expected, right? I am super excited for this and cant wait til May 2nd to find out if my first born is going to school in the fall.
As Always Thanks for reading!!
